THIRD QUARTER 2025
Total throughput in the port of Rotterdam fell slightly by 2.6% in the third quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year. In the first nine months of this year, throughput was 320.2 million tonnes, compared to 328.9 million tonnes in the first nine months of 2024. The decline is mainly due to lower throughput of iron ore and mineral oil products.
Half year report 2025
Throughput in the port of Rotterdam decreased by 4.1% in the first half of 2025. This brought the total throughput to 211.0 million tonnes. The largest decline was in dry bulk (-8.9%) and liquid bulk (-5.3%) segments. Container throughput showed growth of 2.7% in TEU.
FIRST QUARTER 2025
Total throughput in the port of Rotterdam fell by 5.8% in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year. In the first three months of this year, throughput was 103.7 million tonnes compared to 110.1 million tonnes in the first quarter of 2024.
