Note:
- An exemption is not required if the berth taken;
- complies with the traffic signs and further indications or notices affixed on site;
- complies with the 2013 Houseboats Ordinance; (A berth for a ship that is exclusively or mainly used or intended for residential purposes, see the 2013 Houseboat Ordinance)
- is arranged with a permit under the quayage regulation;
- is arranged with the consent of the tenant, leaseholder or owner of the berth.

Considering

  • Article 3.3 of the 2020 Rotterdam Port By-laws, which provides that a vessel may only berth if it does so in accordance with the traffic signs affixed and the accompanying indications or notice to the same effect as a traffic sign;
  • Article 14.1 of the 2020 Rotterdam Port By-Laws, which includes the obligation to comply with the rules of the Port By-Laws;
  • Article 1.9 of the 2020 Rotterdam Port By-laws, in conjunction with the Rotterdam Mandate, Power of Attorney and Authorisation Decree 2021, under which permits/exemptions may be granted by the Harbour Master in mandate, on behalf of the Municipal Executive.

  • Article 3.3 of the 2020 Schiedam Port By-laws, which provides that a vessel may only berth if it does so in accordance with the traffic signs affixed and the accompanying indications or notice to the same effect as a traffic sign;
  • Article 14.1 of the 2020 Schiedam Port By-Laws, which includes the obligation to comply with the rules of the Port By-Laws;
  • Article 1.9 of the 2020 Schiedam Port By-laws, in conjunction with the 2012 Schiedam Mandate, Power of Attorney and Authorisation Decree, on the basis of which exemptions may be granted by the Harbour Master in mandate, on behalf of the Municipal Executive.

  • Article 14.1 of the 2019 Vlaardingen Port By-Laws, which includes the obligation to comply with the rules of the Port By-Laws;
  • Article 1.9 of the 2019 Vlaardingen Port By-laws, in conjunction with the 2012 Schiedam Mandate, Power of Attorney and Authorisation Decree, on the basis of which exemptions may be granted by the Harbour Master in mandate, on behalf of the Municipal Executive.

  • Article 14.1 of the 2020 Zwijndrecht Port By-laws, which includes the obligation to comply with the rules of the Port By-laws;
  • Article 1.9 of the 2020 Zwijndrecht Port By-laws, in conjunction with the Zwijndrecht Mandate, Power of Attorney and Authorisation Decree, on the basis of which exemption may be granted by the Harbour Master in mandate, on behalf of the Municipal Executive.
