Image material
The images on this page may be used free of charge for non-commercial purposes until 31 December, 2029, provided that the name of the photographer and Portlantis are credited. The names of the photographers are listed with the images in the photo gallery. Read the Terms & Conditions before use. The Terms & Conditions described under Copyright apply to the other images on this site.
Image material for personal use
Portlantis is a beautiful backdrop for filming, both inside and out. Creating visual material for private use is free in and around Portlantis. When filming and taking photographs, please be considerate of other visitors and their privacy. During tours of terminals, the guidelines of the relevant companies apply.
Professional image makers
The creation of professional visual material by image makers is possible after written permission has been granted. We supervise photographers and videographers in consultation with them. We are happy to assist in identifying suitable locations and informing you which elements may be filmed and under what conditions. It is not permitted to take photographs in or around the port experience centre or during tours without the permission and supervision of Portlantis. Recording requests can be submitted by email. After reviewing the request, we will respond as soon as possible. Please allow for some processing time and submit your request in good time.
Press inquiries
The media are welcome at Portlantis. Please register in good time to obtain permission, the correct information, and any necessary guidance. Send your request by email, stating the reason for the request, the client or media outlet, and the desired time of visit.
Copyright
It is not permitted to reproduce fragments of this site and our affiliated social media channels by printing, downloading, and/or distributing them to third parties.
The photos, videos, and graphic material displayed on our website are the property of the Port of Rotterdam Authority or third parties and are protected by copyright, trademark law, portrait rights, and/or any other intellectual property rights. The aforementioned rights shall not be transferred to any legal entities or individuals in any way.
Use of Portlantis logo
The photos, videos, and graphic material displayed on our website are the propertPortlantis has one logo, which consists of the logo (Portlantis) and pay-off (‘Explore the port of Rotterdam’). These components are always shown in combination with each other. Use of the logo is only permitted with the written consent of the Port Authority / Portlantis. Please contact us by email. It is not permitted to create or use parts or derivatives of the logo.
